The barn floor

The long table under the beams, the stair turning beyond it

The ground floor is one room under the old beams: the kitchen at one end, a long oak table for eight in the middle, a round table at the foot of the stair. Between them stands a divider of oak shelves carried on terracotta blocks.

Reclaimed boards slide along a track to open and close the media niche, and small speakers are set into the edge of the table.
