Questo spazio trasuda un’eleganza soulful, dove il calore rustico delle travi in legno a vista si fonde con la raffinatezza moderna delle grandi finestre che incorniciano lo skyline storico della città, incluso il maestoso Duomo di Firenze. La mano di Deniz si manifesta nell’equilibrio curato di textures lussuose — tappeti vellutati viola, superfici di granito lucido con lapis lazuli e onice Botticelli, e il bagliore dorato di lampadari scultorei (Tom Dixon) — creando un’estetica dinamica eppure armoniosa. Dominata da una cucina Poliform dal design essenziale, con le sue superfici in granito nero opache e la luminosa schiena in marmo, lo spazio unisce eleganza minimalista e arte funzionale. Il tavolo da pranzo, con il suo top in marmo Sahara Noir e circondato da sedie imbottite in tonalità neutre (Meridiani Living e Borzalino), invita a intime riunioni, incorniciato dalle imponenti finestre che catturano lo skyline senza tempo di Firenze — il Campanile di Giotto che si staglia all’orizzonte. Questo angolo pulsa di una sofisticazione discreta, dove ogni dettaglio, dai lampadari scultorei alla scultura curata, sussurra una storia di eredità reinterpretata per l’anima moderna.
Entrando nella parte sinistra di questo straordinario open space, si rimane subito colpiti dalla maestosità della libreria su misura, un capolavoro di Deniz realizzato in collaborazione con Borzalino.
Realizzata con la ricca patina del bronzo delabré, la calda venatura del legno di frassino e le sorprendenti venature del marmo rosso Lepanto, questa struttura architettonica emana un’opulenza senza tempo. Il vero gioiello è l’installazione TV rotante a 180°, ingegnosamente progettata, che passa da uno schermo ad alta definizione a uno specchio lucido, aggiungendo funzionalità e fascino estetico. Fiancheggiata da pendenti dorati scultorei e da un pouf e divani in pelle trapuntata, la zona si apre attraverso una porta in vetro, legno e metallo su un raffinato ufficio, dove il gioco di luce naturale e i materiali lussuosi creano un santuario accogliente che fonde innovazione moderna con l’eredità fiorentina.

Deniz’s hand is evident in the curated interplay of luxurious textures — velvety purple rugs, polished lapis lazuli and Botticelli onyx surfaces, and the golden glow of sculptural pendant lights (Tom Dixon) — creating a dynamic yet cohesive aesthetic. Extending the narrative into the far right of this exquisite open space, the dining area emerges as a seamless extension of Deniz’s design and Douglas’ refined vision. Anchored by a sleek Poliform kitchen with its matte black granite cabinetry and luminous marble backsplash, the space marries minimalist elegance with functional artistry. The dining table, crowned with an opaque Sahara Noir marble top and flanked by plush, neutral-toned chairs (Meridiani Living and Borzalino), invites intimate gatherings against the backdrop of towering windows that frame Florence’s timeless skyline — Giotto’s Campanile piercing the horizon. The pièce de résistance is the ingeniously engineered 180° rotating TV installation, seamlessly transitioning from a sleek, high-definition screen to a polished bronze mirror, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic intrigue.

Il Bar in Onice
(IT) Il bancone in onice su misura, firmato da Deniz per Douglas, prende vita con la meticolosa selezione di lastre di onice, le cui affascinanti striature di crema, marrone e ambra vengono tagliate con cura per rivestire il bancone principale.
Retroilluminatoda LED caldi, questo rifugio professionale emana un’eleganza luminosa, con la sua superficie lucida che riflette un bagliore dorato mentre nasconde un sofisticato assortimento di attrezzature da bar.
Dietro, una cabina in legno su misura, realizzata con precisione, si abbina armoniosamente a un piano in granito nero e lapislazzuli—il suo profondo blu interrotto da un elegante lavandino e un dispenser d’acqua filtrata, unendo opulenza e funzionalità.
L’area salotto del bar si apre con un tavolo rotondo in marmo rosso Lepanto, le sue ricche venature che ancorano un quartetto di poltrone Tosconova — due in morbida pelle, due in tessuto strutturato — disposte in perfetta armonia. Di fronte, un camino sospeso Gyrofocus diffonde un calore gentile, trasformando lo spazio in un elegante rifugio che fonde lusso moderno con l’allure senza tempo di Firenze.
The Onyx Bar
(EN) The custom-designed and built onyx bar, a pinnacle of craftsmanship by Deniz for Douglas, begins its story with the meticulous selection of exquisite onyx slabs, their mesmerizing striations of cream, brown, and amber carefully cut to clad the main bar. Fully backlit by warm LED lighting, this professional-grade haven exudes a luminous elegance, its polished surface reflecting the golden glow while concealing a sophisticated array of bar essentials.
Behind it, bespoke wood cabinetry, crafted with precision, pairs seamlessly with a labradorite granite and lapis lazuli countertop — its deep blue hue punctuated by a sleek sink and drinking water dispenser, adding a touch of opulence to practicality.
The adjacent bar sitting area unfolds with a striking round Levanto Red marble table, its rich veins anchoring a quartet of armchairs by Tosconova —two in supple leather, two in textured fabric — arranged in perfect harmony. Across from this ensemble, a suspended, rotating fireplace by Gyrofocus casts a gentle warmth, transforming the space into a sophisticated retreat that blends modern luxury with timeless Florentine allure.
L’Ufficio
(IT) Entrando nello studio, si è immediatamente avvolti da un’armoniosa combinazione di design moderno e influenze toscane calde. La stanza è dominata da una scrivania nera lucida e slanciata, che funge da elemento centrale, la cui superficie riflettente cattura la morbida luce di una iconica lampada Snoopy di Flos — un omaggio al design italiano di metà secolo. Ai lati della scrivania, due lampade con paralumi neri e basi dorate aggiungono un tocco di opulenza, mentre la carta da parati blu decorata con delicati rami dorati infonde allo spazio un’aria naturale e artistica.
La parete laterale è un elemento sorprendente, rivestita in pannelli di legno ricchi e testurizzati disposti in un motivo a griglia, che trasmette profondità architettonica e calore. Questo sfondo organico contrasta meravigliosamente con il moderno televisore a schermo piatto montato al centro, offrendo un perfetto equilibrio tra funzionalità e stile. Una poltrona in pelle trapuntata invita alla produttività, mentre l’atmosfera complessiva è di raffinata calma — ideale per Douglas, un intenditore di business e di bellezza! The room is anchored by a sleek, glossy black desk that serves as the centerpiece, its reflective surface mirroring the soft glow of an iconic orange Snoopy lamp by Flos —a nod to mid-century Italian design. Flanking the desk are two dramatic black-shaded lamps, their golden bases adding a touch of opulence, while the blue wallpaper adorned with delicate gold branches infuses the space with a natural, artistic flair.
