The Bedrooms

The master bedroom: the upholstered bed in striped linen, the old secretaire behind

The work in the three bedrooms was targeted. In each we refreshed the walls, changing their tone.

In the master bedroom, a large upholstered bed by D'Aleo stands against the more rustic architecture. The two Capod'opera bedside tables, in contrasting colours, lighten the room and step away from the warm, earthy tones of the walls, the wooden floor and the original secretaire. Vibia wall lamps light the bed; on the wall beside it, the lights are by Flos.

In the corridor we repainted the wardrobes and added Il Fanale wall lights, for a light that is bright but soft.

In the loft bedroom, the iron stair was reworked, its glass treads replaced with perforated iron, and an ottoman bed below makes the room more flexible. On the mezzanine the wall lamps are by Il Fanale; the large moon-shaped pendant is by Karman. The naïf faces on the walls are original paintings by the San Francisco artist Toby Klayman.

Finally, in the small bedroom, we changed the lighting to a Vibia pendant system: two in the centre, one over the bedside table and one over the desk. The upholstered bed is by D'Aleo, the bedside tables by Kartell.
