Il Progetto

(IT) La Guesthouse appartiene ad un progetto più ampio - due abitazioni indipendenti in un grande parco con piscina e campo da tennis, situati sulle colline di Sasso Marconi. Una, la Guesthouse appunto, era già in condizioni abitabili, mentre la seconda, il Fienile, è oggetto di una ristrutturazione totale, attualmente in corso.

I due si trovano uno direttamente di fronte all’altro.

Quando conobbi i proprietari, la famiglia Jones - Zadeh, l’intenzione era quella di progettare completamente il Fienile, e di progettare un restyling molto più limitato della Guesthouse, puntando principalmente sul design dell’illuminazione degli interni.

Andando avanti, però, il cliente ha gradualmente deciso di ampliare il restyling, lavorando anche su colori, tessuti, materiali - portandoci così ad intervenire anche sulle zone giorno (salotto e “sala TV”), sulle camere da letto e sui bagni. Il tutto è stato deciso in modo graduale, mentre lavoravamo al progetto del Fienile, il che mi ha permesso di conoscere meglio il clienti, i loro gusti, e di comprendere le loro necessità specifiche.

Il risultato, malgrado gli interventi relativamente limitati, parla da sé - la Guesthouse è oggi una colezione di ambienti che riflettono pienamente lo stile di Rebeccca e Joe, e che sono più funzionali, confortevoli ed estetici.

The Project

(EN) The Guesthouse is part of a larger project—two independent dwellings in a large park with a swimming pool and tennis court, located in Sasso Marconi. One, the Guesthouse itself, was already in habitable conditions, while the second, the Fienile (“barn”), is undergoing a total renovation that is currently in progress.

The two are situated directly opposite each other.

When I met the owners, the Jones-Zadeh family, the intention was to completely restructure and design the Fienile and to carry out a much more limited restyling of the Guesthouse, focusing primarily on the design of the interior lighting.

However, as we progressed, the client gradually decided to expand the restyling, also working on colors, fabrics, and materials — thus leading us to intervene in the living areas (living room and "TV room"), the bedrooms (mainly the master bedroom), and the bathrooms.

Everything was decided gradually and in parallel to the Fienile project, which allowed me to get to know the clients better, their tastes, and to understand their specific needs.

The result, despite the relatively limited interventions, speaks for itself — the Guesthouse is today a collection of spaces that fully reflect Rebecca and Joe's style, and that are more functional, comfortable, and aesthetic.
