The loggia

The water sculpture: corten sheeting into its basin, a fire column beyond

A covered colonnade along one edge of the roof, glazed out to the pine canopy and the mountains.

Three sculptures stand in line down it. Two are columns of veined marble carrying an open flame inside frameless glass; between them is a column of corten with water running down its ribbed face into a basin at its foot. Fire, water, fire — each lit from within once the sun has gone.
