In this apartment near Florence's Ponte Vecchio, the onyx bar embodies Deniz Onel's sculptural sensibility, shaped to Douglas Atkin's refined vision.

Selected slabs with striations of cream, brown, and amber clad the main bar, fully backlit by warm LED lighting. The translucent stone glows with golden light, its polished surface reflecting the room while housing a professional array of bar essentials.

Behind it, bespoke wood cabinetry, crafted with precision, pairs seamlessly with a labradorite granite and lapis lazuli countertop — deep blue hues accented by a sleek sink and drinking water dispenser—balancing minimal form and practical artistry.

The adjacent bar sitting area unfolds with a striking round Levanto Red marble table, its rich veins anchoring a quartet of armchairs by Tosconova —two in supple leather, two in textured fabric — arranged in perfect harmony.

Across from this ensemble, a suspended, rotating fireplace by Gyrofocus casts a gentle warmth, transforming the space into a sophisticated retreat that blends modern luxury with timeless Florentine allure.
